So this just in… a week and a bit ago

So I am unemployed… and as such I have zero excuses for two things…. not posting on here and not painting… so! I will be doing both way more frequently.. I have a painting in the works from the series I discussed about appropriation that I am fairly pleased with thus far… so… more on that soon…

Other than that I must keep my mind nimble and see as many shows as I can manage… also…. goal this year= be part of an art show….. so…. hopefully that works out anyway… expect more from my lazy ass

I have the sporadic urge sometimes to figure out a way to live in warm laundry.. Its honestly one of the most comfortable feelings ever to put on a pair of dryer warm pants.

new art project in mind.

ok so after literally months of a dry spell in terms of art I have become inspired. After seeing a few blog posts about using thrift store paintings and adding images to it I have become inspired to try my hand at this. I have done this for some time on a smaller scale and I guess I never really saw the potential in pursuing it any further than just drawing on calenders of sceneries and such… I will keep you all updated on the progress.. in the meantime I need thrift store paintings….
